Cauley Forsythe Law Group is an established immigration law firm in Charlotte, NC with a growing employment-based immigration practice. We also handle complex removal defense, humanitarian, and family-based immigration matters. We seek an associate attorney with experience in various immigrant and nonimmigrant employment-based immigration matters to join our team. Fluency in English and Spanish are required to effectively communicate with our clients.

Candidates must be bright, meticulous, creative, and have a positive disposition. The ideal candidate will be able to conduct initial client screenings, identify legal issues, and determine legal strategy independently. They will attend USCIS interviews with clients. They will be problem solvers who enjoy collaboration and teamwork. Analytical skills are critical to success in this position. Candidates should have a passion for writing and be able to effectively communicate with both clients and government entities. They must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently, as well as review work performed by paralegals in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
Member of a state bar in good standing
2 years of experience in a broad range of employment-based immigration matters
Bilingual - English and Spanish
Relocation to Charlotte, NC

Salary commensurate with experience. Benefit package includes: bar dues, AILA dues, CLE trainings, health insurance, 401K/profit sharing retirement program; paid time off.

We are seeking to hire two attorneys: one Spanish-speaking associate attorney to handle family-based and humanitarian immigration matters, and one employment-based attorney with two years of experience.

Full-time Paralegal-Bilingual English/Spanish

We seek an experienced paralegal to join our team

Responsibilities include: manage individual case workflow under attorney supervision, manage and assist in meeting deadlines, data entry in electronic case management system, communicate with clients orally and in writing, communicate with government agencies orally and in writing, draft forms and supporting evidence packages, responsible for file maintenance, and work with co-workers in a collaborative environment.

Candidates must possess:

  • Associates degree, but bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
  • Attention to detail
  • Superior computer skills
  • Touch-typing 50 wpm
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in the immigration law field is a plus
